green terrors, but not true green terrors. trues are smaller have silver scales surrounded by black. saum's black surrounded by silver. the silver is awesome. name thing just brings up controversy. neither is any better than the other.

Green Terror is the common name...saying that a gold/silver saum isn't a green terror is silly.

I agree with this. Rivulatus should really be referred to as maybe the original green terror. Not true. There are currently 3 fish in the trade that are referred to as green terror. The OP has displayed 2 of them.

I know you know this FSM, this is for the others who have not seen this conversation in these threads.

Ahh I wasnt sure on the true green terror, now I know though. I am still happy with these guys as they are now settling and showing great colors.

They look like real nice fish that you have there. The silver saum is fairly rare in the fish trade. Not as rare as the rivulatus but still you don't see them too often. I personally have a gold saum and love it.

Anybody ever come across a true gt/gold saum hybrid? Im very curious as to whether they can breed and if so, what theyd look like.....
