yea, most of the time flash seems to flush most fish's colors.
gold saum is a type of green terror right?

but that is a nice looking fish! i like the colors :)

p.s. sorry to hear about the raphael. did it talk to you yet :D

The flash makes him look shiny but pretty colorless most of the time.

A gold saum is a green terror... sort of. There are also silver saums (the lining is white instead of orange) "true green terrors" are a different species and aren't very common at all. So technically a gold or silver saum is not a green terror, but thats what everone calls it.

The raphael seems fine, despite its disability. mostly it just hides in a dark cave all day except to come out and inhale shrimp pellets on occasion. I haven't pulled it out of the water yet; I used a cup to put it in the tank. The geniuses at the pet store caught it with a regular net, which it clamped onto with its pokey fins.

great pics of a great fish.

4 dozen pics taken = 4 pics worth showing. At least I'm not using film!

thats good to hear. i catch mine with the net a lot and the only part that ever got 'hooked' is the spikes on his side. i did pick him up behind his head once and he pinched my thumb and index finger :WHOA:

and at least yours comes out! i only see mine when i turn the light on in the middle of the night.

GTs grow too slow! I need a new tank for more fish! If only there was a sink in the basement.
