wow wow wow!!! beautiful GT man congrats! that has to be one of the best ever kept in aquaria!

Is it SB? maybe the high back is an optical illusion. I love the shape it has!

Just Moved him. He is currently in a 75, with his brother separated on one side. Both measured somewhere around 10" in the bucket during move.

photo with modified flash: shows bulk of fish, but colors are off.

He does have a very high profile, but he is not a short body. I'm hoping to continue his build through breeding. I really like his tall profile vs the traditionally more elongated GT.

Sorry, I don't have any photos of them when they were babies. These guys didn't color up until around 5 inches. After 5", they go into a blooming stage where they just beef out and brighten up. They are all very thick.

Here is a photo of the smallest of their brothers. He is not quite as round, but you can see he is not as elongated as normal ones. He is 4-5" here, and started to color up at 5-6".

Here is a photo of another brother going from 6" to 7 1/2" in 2-3 weeks. He has the traditional length of a GT, but you can tell he is very thick. This one was second to smallest.

And, here is a photo of the middle brother. He has a very high profile as well. He is about 7-8" here.
