has spotting on the face, but the fish is still settling in. He is a little bit of a bully, which is bringing out the panda's colors wonderfully.

Yea my gold is now the tank boss but one of my redspots that was the boss is still challenging him. Hows he doing?
He is doing great. Settled in nicely and not really causing any problems. Turning out to be a good looking fish too.
I find them to be still fairly easy to find at my LFS. I just pick up a really nice looking one along with a good looking Green Severum about a month ago. They have settled in nicely with my 2 Super Reds.
Just a quick question, are you able to keep a shoal of Severums together without killing each other?

My 4 are fine Just a little chasing when feeding. The gold is about 6" reds 5" and green 4". The gold is the chaser. If you have a hiding spot for each one it will be even better. Most severums are quite mellow.
Same here, mine are fine together they chase each other around a little bit but nobody gets hurt.
