what would be the best way to acclimate them after such a long journey? i dont have any ammonia detox
just got my gold in his tank. when i first put him in all he did was go to a corner and sit there. so i turned the lights off and now he ventures out into the tank but returns to the corner after a bit of swimming. Will post pictures sometime after lunch.
Got a couple pics of him. Not very good ones though. Will try and get better ones when he gets more used to the tank and comes out of his corner more ofter.
cant wait for more picsi have tried feeding him shrimp twice now. eveytime as soon as i drop it in the tank he attacks it and gets a couple bits as its falling but then as soon as it hits the ground he just swims away and has no interest in it. could this be because he is used to live food? if so should i give it some live food or just keep trying thr shrimp. I can always grab a couple baby koi out of my moms koi pond if need be
ummm lol are you serious, just be patient he is still getting use to the tank. keep doing the shrimp but wait a day or so. do not do feeders, stay away from GOLDFISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unless you want to stunt its growth.
