has any one compilmented his fish in this thread yet?
really nice fish:)

here a direct quote from the most reliable online encylopedia on the net..

" Feeder goldfish are a popular choice for feeding piranhas, although they contain a vitamin B inhibitor that may stunt growth and shorten the fish's life span"

STUNT GROWTH AND SHORTEN THE FISH'S LIFE SPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i tried to give him some shrimp again today. he did the same thing again just attacked it as it was sinking then when it stopped moving he just swam away with no interest in it anymore

Thats normal, just keep offering him shrimp. He's not used to eating it but he'll learn it's food. My spilo did the same thing at first. What I did with mine was put a piece of shrimp in the tank for an hour then removed what he didn't eat. I did this once a day at the same time every day. Within 2 weeks that fish should understand it's time to eat.

ok thanks for your help. that is what i will do put it in the same time everyday and wait an hour. then remove the rest. thanks again
