Golden Chinese Alage Eaters??

Hello, today I wanted to pick up something ''odd'' for my datnoid tank. Was orginally looking for a royal clownknife or flagtail prochidulis but my lfs quickly ran out of those of course..:( Anyways I decided to pick up 2 Golden Chinese Alage eaters. The LFS owner said that they eat alage and other fish food. He also told me that they get about 8''. I've gone on various websites and they insist that these guys get about 6''. Does anyone know how big these guys get?

You're going to reconsider these fish since these are notoriously aggresive and can suck the slime coat of their tankmates as their food source.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Never knew that one!! HMM, in about a month or so when I upgrade the dat and bala to the big tank would I be able to have a group of these guys in a 55?

maybe, the largest ive seen was about 8-9"
