Actually yes! I started by trying to move the Odoe out of the 180 and into my 144 with my ATF, partly as an experiment..... It failed. My otherwise peaceful Odoe started beating on my seemingly basa$$ atf. Since I couldn't very well have my odoe kill my prized Brevis, I made the decision to move the pike back into the 180.
The next day I took King's advice and purchased another fish: a gar. Now long term, this was stupid because it's an alligator gar, but I've been missing a gar ever since my FL died mysteriously and I couldn't walk away from this (now) little guy.
On a positive note, the tank is more balanced than it has been in a LONG time. The knife still takes the lions share of food, but the introduction of the gar (who immediately took to my nightly feedings of stuffed raw shrimp and tilapia) has stimulated the appetites of my odoe and my wolf, who previously had been on very long hunger strikes.
For now it seems that order has been restored. Perhaps 3 fish was too few for a tank this size, and the clown knife began to feel a bit too comfy. I check every day for nipped/torn fins, new bite marks, ect, but so far all seems to be going pretty well.
Thanks for the suggestion King!
ps - anyone going to be in the market for a gator gar in 8-9 months? (I'm looking at you jsodwi)
