Hi all it's been a while since I posted on here. I've recently lost a couple of prized fish(14" clown knife,12" Lima Shovelnose, and a huge 4yr old parrot that was my first monster!) all due to stupidly accepting three 8" pacus. They killed off the knife and parrot due to being the most greedy and skittish fish I've ever owned! I wanted rid when the knife went. Couple days later I see the pacu ragging my Shovelnose about,he died a day later.
I have the opportunity to swap the evil pacu for a golden cobra snakehead.
My stock list now comprises of a 24" silver aro, fire and tyretrack eels@12",three 10" oscars and a 12" spotted/Florida gar. Oh and the mandatory 17" hi fin plec.
Anyway, what's the chance of this snakehead decimating my remaining fish? It's around 16". I've read they arent as aggressive as normal snakes, I REALLY want this fish but feel it could be a very bad choice.
Any helpful comments from people that have experience with this fish would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks TB

Oh btw I live in the uk so please keep this on topic and not about invasive species. When I google this fish it's all I hear. Snakeheads cannot survive our winters. Thanks!

Won't work, Golden Cobra Snakehead, Channa Aurantimaculata is sub tropical, and they require colder temps than your tropical fish.
