Golden Dorado with Jardini?

I recently got a Golden Dorado that is about 5 inches. His tank mates are 5 datnoids, ornate bichir, and a flagtail Prochilodus. The dorado seems to leave the datnoids and bichirs alone, but sometimes gives the flagtail the death stare like he is about to take a nip. I understand Jardini's can be mean, but would one put the dorado in check? I have the room for both if they need to be seperated.

The Dorado may put the Jardini in check if equal size.
I would keep in a separate aquarium.

Never kept a dorado, always wanted to
mates have always warned me off saying that they are one of the most unpredictable mental fish. Jardinis are no angels either so probably not a good combo

The dorado will eventually kill the others. They would even attack their own kind. I would suggest keeping him well fed.
They do better in large groups. Sort of dithering with their own.
