Great looking cage I have a pair of tokay in my backyard patio in wooden sided enclosure plexi front its pretty big so I used 2 x4 and other flat wooden pieces leaning on the back wall as cover .
you could do a few boards like that but since your enclosure is a natural looking nice piece branches are probably your best bet.
You actually see Geckos more if they have more hide areas but you had him for 9 yrs so you know what your doing

I just finished putting a few more pieces of wood in the cage and attempted to create a few hiding places near the ground. I'll get pics up soon...

I've been thinking of adding a waterfall too. what do you guys think?

He's pretty. Try feeding him grasshoppers and geting him a moon light, he'll be all over the place.

I think you should add some more live plants to your tank. These guys live in forests in the wild. That might help him feel more secure if he has more cover. Just a thought.

what kind of plants should i get?

That lighting is a bit bright. Maybe tone down the lighting a bit to just one center heat lamp and he will be more secure coming out since it will be darker. Also more live plants and I think a waterfall would be awsome as long as the pond or whatever at the end of it isn't more than a couple inches deep.

Bromiliads are always nice.

Well I noticed you have a lot of succulents in your tank which are desert plants. You want rain forest plants instead. If I were you I'd try some Chinese Evergreens, Pothos, and maybe some Philodendrons. All are easy, common house plants you can pick up at a nursery.

I put the light covers back over the bulbs so now the lights arent as intense. I also started making a waterfall out of styrofoam and this is what i came up with:

My plan was to put several coats of cement over the styrofoam but im not sure if its going to work so i already made another one out of cement and rocks, Ill get pics of that one tomorrow.

And some new pics of my lizard:
