Golden pike cichlid

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that made up my mind. tomorrow I'm going to grab that yellow pike cichlid I saw, (about 3") and puttin him in my 125.

Grab at least 3 of them..the more the merrier. Pikes are aggressive towards other pikes, so its good to break up the aggression by having many. Then once they pair up you just get rid of the others....;)

I suppose it could be a dwarf, but, it was VERY small when I got it, and it has lived in a 45g tank for the entire time. It eats very well. I'm thinking now in the bigger tank it might take off growth wise, if it's going to. I guess we'll see! Like I said, someitme soon I'll get a pic.

Got some nighy crawlers tonight and my pike ate one as soon as i put it in the tank. It took him a while to get it down because he or she started from the tail end. I tried pellets for the jd's but they haven't touched them yet.
