Trade name in Thailand is "Thai marulioides", but the fish that sold in Thai LFS not so much.

this thai maruloides spec is outstanding in terms of coloration. d blotches (band) r quite different from the normal maruloides. What about flowers ?

Thai marulioides must have yellow colored & red eye, I used to got 6, all of them like this. Some fish pattern on fin like marulius. The flower showed white scale clearly at small size (7-8", never see smaller than this size), normally 4-5 bands but some have more.

Everything like I said but fish in this pic beautyful than I got. If I see this fish I call it Thai marulioides, but it can found in Narathiwat, it very close to Trangganu or Klantan in Malaysia. Can u found marulioides in these area? If it can it should be the same.

in that case i must make a trip to the northern states (trengganu and kelantan) one of this day to get hold of this spec. u r rite this is a beautiful specimen...btw i'm living in southern part of m'sia next to singapore

Sorry, I don't know where is Trengganu but I try to say Kotabaru & Kelantan.
