oh, btw, and as for a female! they are almost always grey with a little bit of color on the table, most of them will have a tint of blue on the top side of there flat body LOL! anyways, u'll easily pick a female up at petsmart! and it's most fun to breed these guys =) hope this helped!

Nah not interested in breeding them (yet). I was planning to get rid of the killi I have now because I didnt think it would be able to hang with its tankmates. But actually, the Killi does just find. Its fast, smart, and stays away when it needs to. Very good eater too, and will eat with the bigger fish.
I know what you mean! I have my killi stuck living with congo tetras and sharks! he is out of place in the picture LOL!
but he's too pretty to be a feeder LOL!
Do whatever you want with him, but don't put him in a community tank, mine's already killed two female betta and a swordtail! he will look at them as food even though they're the same size!
