As some of you may know, I started trying to get goldfish bowls banned almost 2 years ago. I was on the news several times and I wrote a letter to the president and even received a response. I essentially gave up trying to get bowls banned. I actually got an email from the congressman saying that I would need to call and schedule a meeting with him to discuss it. That was a little over a year a go. Should I call and schedule a meeting, or do nothing?

The only way I can get a bill passed is if I contact the congressman. The president can't introduce bills.
No but maybe he can issue an Executive Order lol.Oftentimes at the end of their term presidents do some seemingly crazy things, just look at how the current one just ordered the release of a bunch of locked up criminals.

He already got one of my letters. It is unlikely that a second would reach him. Should I keep trying, or give up?

The most likely way to get a law passed is to contact the congressman. Should i do that or not?
Dude, this is something you have to decide for yourself. Everyone one on here could say "yay/nay" all day but at the end of the day if you do/don't really want to so it, then that is what will happen. Personally I don't see why goldfish bowls even exist. I've seen some "decent" sized ones (up to 40ltrs) but I don't understand why people would buy them. Don't get me wrong, I own a couple of "torture tanks" myself but use them as hospital/quarantine tanks and nothing else. Personally I think my 10ltr torture tank has more potential than a 40ltr bowl but that's just my opinion.

If someone else saying yay or nay is what makes up your mind then I say "ban the bowl!" But if you're not dedicated heart and soul to doing so then it won't happen. If that all makes sense? :)

Well said Kittiee.

It seems like I used to be very interested in doing it, but that interest diminished. I feel bad not doing it. I am going to call tomorrow.
