goldfish getting dark

I feed Hikari algae wafers. There's a lot of protein and veggies. the best part is that they need to eat them over a period of like 2 hours, so they are way less likely to gorge and have swim bladder problems. Also, since they are wafers you can know exactly what to feed everyday instead of just a random "pinch".
Another pretty decent food are the Tetrmin Goldfish krisps...just stay away form any flakes

we once had a goldfish in the pond that went from orange to snow white in a matter of months. it was cool watching it change.
