Goldfish in Liquid Nitrogen

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That is stupid. I can't believe that they did that apparently in a science class. That fish start swimming again because the tissues in the core of its body were still unfrozen, but I am sure its skin and eyes were freeze-damaged and it probably felt terrible pain.

Am i so foolish to think that as a nation, we were over killing large breeding females, could I have been so wrong?

I wish the regulations were much stronger, like slot limits for bass - just to keep my romantic notions of the modern sportsman alive.

Sorry, this is not meant to be a rant or a attempt to pass judgement at all, and i mean no offense to those who catch and keep.

Perhaps i am devoted to the wrong sport.

But yet its ok for commerical fisherman to go out a catch 200 pound of grouper and make a huge profit, but yet the only allow sport fishermen only 3 to keep...... Your logic is wrong dont punish the sport punish the commerical.

I think I have seen this here before, but if we weren't supposed to eat animals, they wouldn't of been made of tasty meat. Tasty tasty meat.

do you eat meat? should watch, youtube some video's of animal slaughter. that is why I advocate vegetarianism. not in the strict sense, but its a better choice in my opinion. You thought killing a big fish is cruel, wait until you see how larger animals die. its not just a pattie in the freezer, it was once living, mewing, had a mother and father too.
I agree animals should be taken out with respect but do you kno plants feel and communicate with eachother also? scientist have pulled out plants out of the ground and they send out frequinces that you cannot hear and scream. When you touch them they also make noises and a bunch on other stuff. same princeable in a way.

I know Nepenthes do that. If certain species are touched they abort their pitchers and quit growing for months. We made a stem cutting of Nepenthes maxima on a 3 foot vine (3 years old, at least) and it aborted the entire vine. They're incredibly finicky plants.

i cannot watch those videos but i take your word for it..just horrible.. and i agree with you

Holy over posting batman. What's with the fishing story posting/links?

First off anyone fishing knows from the start that it is cruel to the fish. That story is stupid as if he didn't know it until later. Either you accept it and do it or you don't. I never have like fishing unless it is for food and not a 'sport' but at the same I don't yell at those that do it.
