Goldfish, stupid or smart?

Anyone who thinks goldfish are less intelligent than any other fish is inherently stupid, in my opinion. They have been trained to do simple tricks numerous times, such as going through a ring or even pushing a ball into a basket. If anything, goldfish are exceptionally smart fish.
Hoyo! Did you ever answer your other thread about changing the water on your tank? lol Just curious because we weren't sure if you hadn't changed any water in 4 months or what the deal was and you never came back to answer.
As far as Goldfish-one of the more intelligent fish. I read that Goldfish are one of the fish they do different studies on because of their intelligence. But they're like Cory Cats-they're not territorial so they don't understand territorialism. They don't speak that language. Fish aren't 'racist'. It takes lack of brain cells to be racist and fish are smarter than that

Who cares how smart they are, they're personable at least. Beagles are one of the stupidest dogs, but they're popular pets because they're so lovable.
