Goldfish with cichlids

Hi all,
about 2 months ago i bought 10 feeder goldfish for my cichlids. 9 of them were eaten pretty fast. But for some reason they didn't eat one of them. So right now I have a goldfish that is hanging out with my cichlids. The biggest ones are a 10 inch Midas, 11 inch Amarillo and an 11 inch Blackelt. Has anyone ever heard of this happen?

my veija have killed some cichlids i have tried to introduce, but leave a shoal of colombian red fin tetra alone!!!! strange things happen when you have fish

Hehe I guess. I don't know its a really weird goldfish, he even chased my Green Terror, but then he got half of his fin bitten off.

goldfish are pretty good with semi aggressive fish in my opinion. the fact that all they do is swim eat and poop really keeps them from getting into trouble

I guess thats true, but still if you read some stories about how you cant keep other fish with a Midas, then I think its awesome that this tiny goldfish is hanging out with him.
