Here’s the full story
My parents friends gave us 3 goldfish, they all came with some black scales but the one that had the most died and the 2 have recovered till now, this one is getting it back but way worse with horrible bloat and popeye, the rest of the fish are fine (koi and 1 goldfish and pleco) and I thought dropsey but I don’t see any pineconing and it sometimes eats

It Has dropsy but it isn't pineconning his stomach but its fluids are building up in its eyes. The treatment for this to sperate it from its original tank and place it in a Hospital Tank with increased Temprature and epsom salt (But not too much). I see that it also has fin rot (early stage) Use Sera Backtopur for that and your ammonia level is 0 so do you have snails in your tank? Because black scales usually appear due to high ammonia levels or snails in the tank.

Idk if it has dropsey, It was exactly like this a few months back and fully recovered, i don’t have a qt unfortunately, should I add a heater to the main tank? I already dose heavily with salt, I use test strips, I heard those aren’t the most accurate, no snails, they aren’t really black scales but more like a mixture with a blood red like a human scab, but it doesn’t really act to sick it swims around and eats still

Also it isn’t my tank, it’s my parents so I don’t pay to much attention to it

How is temprature around you and your room if it is hot then you dont need a heater but if it is in AC or cold then u defently need a heater
