if a xback is kept in its wild condition or pond will it still have less shine levels

im just thinking its not natural to see fully crossed 7 inch babys and this can only be got if the aro is kept in a white tank

You wont get to see fully crossed one in the pond by nature. As for 7 inches to be fully crossed, sad to say the fish either got to have a super development genes or it got to be placed on a constraint eating diet. No matter how good the genes is, it can never go against the nature of growing up and development through time.
