GOLIATH & VITTATUS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
longer snout, no stripes, bigger tail, larger teeth, 4 extra teeth in back of mouth (although nearly impossable to see at juvie size), and usually their eyes(not pupil) are lighter in color. I owned one years ago, around the same time as supajap, but I live in Nor-Cal. I picked it up from a LFS that priced it as a regular ATF. Kept it in my 60 gallon for a few months and tryed to sell it because I knew it's potential size. Since I didn't have a digicam back then, didn't have many people interested in buying, eventhough my home was open for anyone to come see. I guess they were just way too rare back then for anyone to believe I owned one. Bad thing was I ended up selling it for around $150 cuz of the non believers. Tank was way too small to hold on to it. I believe it was back when WW was Predatory. Anyways, moral of the story...Keep your eyes open at your LFS. You never know what you might find.

Yap...true, cause for every 500 or so pieces shipped to the U.S 1 could possibly be the true Goliath.

Tigerfangs picked his up a LFS for the regular asking price. However they were all labeled as Goliaths. He was telling me his search started back in the mid 90's and finally found one in 2003

He named his beast , " KING" appropiatly named.... I gotta think of a name for mine....hmmmmh...
