Goliath vs. Aimara

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm going to go against the crowd and say GATF hands down. Think of a F14 fighter plane against a tank. In an aquarium setting an Aimara perhaps but in open water I think the aimara would get dismantled by the bigger, faster, more powerful fish. That being said I would much rather own an Aimara:headbang2

tough to decide....GATF is a fast fish with teeth that can do some devistation, but just one single bite by the aimara and its over with, so these guys won't let go and will just destroy a fish.....i'll go aimara

Damn it I was the first to reply after some one dug up this fossil thread!

Oh well..

Still, for some reason, this match up is one of the few "vs" threads that brings a smile to my face. What can I say...If Im ever in the situation financially to house an aimara and GATF together (hell even separately) Im living good! ;) So dreaming of these two ]v[onsters puts a smile on my face!

actually, if you post a picture of a full grown goliath, the teeth are much larger than any hoplias. but personality wise in a tank, an aimara would win. in the wild, if the tiger really wants to kill a hoplias, it wouldn't be difficult, a few swift bites and the game is over.

Youre right, an aimara may not have teeth quiet as large as GATF, but they damn sure aint nothing to shake a stick at either!

Size of teeth doesnt mean anything. Would you rather get bit by a 12" H. armatus or 12" S rhombeus?!
