some expensive lucky charms  i'd stick with a couple rabbits feet

I'd rather just have a couple hot strippers come over to my house and clean my fish tanks naked on a weekly basis. Probably would be less expensive too.

Might not fly with your girlfriend though... or maybe it would? Some chicks are in to that. :grinno:

So, seriously, what are your plans from here... you're already effed. Gonna buy a bigger tank and do a monster planted discus setup? What are your plans for ph and water changes... I'm sure your nitrates are close to 0 with all those plants you have growing. How much does your ph swing with your co2? You gonna try to breed them at all? You gonna get more? TELL ME NOW!!!!!!! ;)
haha we'll let's see

- get rid of all the little fish. will only keep the 3 discus, roselines, and the 2 rainbows. no more new plants or fish!!!
- I'm not gonna worry about ph, these guys are captive bred, so they should be used to different conditions. LFS didn't do anything special to the water
- i think they may be ok in that tank for a good while, no plans to upgrade tank sizes anytime soon. if i ever do, it will be a 75-120g
- breeding, not really gonna try persay. if it happens, win. if not, no big deal
- water changes, i'm already doing 50% a week for EI dosing, so that will remain the same
- ph swing, not sure. don't really check the ph throughout the day. but generally speaking, co2-induced ph swings don't affect the fish since the TDS of the water isn't changing

I've had the WORST luck with my wild caught ones... gonna go down to petsmart and just buy the lame captive bred ones and quarantine them. I've like 5/6 of my wild caught. :(

Yup, denisonii are captive bred. At least I'm assuming they are, considering I got them for $9 each. Wild caught doesn't mean much to me, unless there is a CLEAR difference in the colors/pattern. I'm more than happy with my roselines. they eat like pigs, are super active, and have amazing color.

yeah, 57g, 36x18. We'll see how it goes :)

Thats some crappy cell phone shot.I would like to try discus some day.
