That's odd, dying in a month....

Do you have substrates in your tank, what kind and how many inches of thickness?

At 2.5-3 inches endli and ornate still rely more on their external gill, therefor they need more clean water and as for the sene, it's already at it's hardy stage which mean it's now able to stand up dirty water quality.

Probably you had the water params not right and that caused your endli and ornate to die, while your sene survived.

As for the feeding... try the starve within a week or 2 method or the turn the lights off and leaving the room method. Complete darkness and without you in the room as they can sense your present and at that size they are still skittish. Don't get excited on watching them eat as you will get to see them ear infront of you or even get a chance to hand feed them when they grow bigger. Most people keep repeating this mistake by getting a newly acquired juvenile nocturnal fish and get excited to watch them eat infront of them. Let them settle down and give it time to adjust.

Good luck!

I didn't have any substrate in the tank. It's prolly what you said. Poor water condition. I did find it weird why they died and the sens survived.

Thanks for the great info. Gonna get them tomorrow. Wish me luck. I'll try out what you mentioned, hopefully with better success this time.
