Good Book?

ehh.. I find that the american Stingray books are all fairly vague and generalized information, all stuff you could probably acquire from the internet.. It is nice to have a nice hardback book to let people borrow.. but nothing beats the german Aqualog (full version) as it breaks down in detail the identification characteristics of each species, as well as collection zones, etc..

All the other books have the same info, but just not species specific details like that..
 
I would say Yes..

The first two you posted is probably a bunch of information that you already know re-hashed out in a variety of ways.. After getting the full detail aqualog book I went back over my other smaller american ray books, and they were like 'Informational Hand-Outs' compared to the content of the Aqualog..

I also ordered both aqualogs at once, and was a bit disappointed I ordered the Dr. Ross american version, as it seemed to be just the same as his other book and the other aqualog, just re-worded.

All the links provided on my website will get you the basic general information, and I haven't even yet attempted to hash out the detailed aqualog info for the website.. that is mind bending and will take some thought..
 
alright, i'll just get the aqualog. Just to confirm, it is full of pics and all the info contained in the other 2, right?
