I said I feel like it because I was upset that I lost my Gar. And in some circumstances you might spank your child for pulling a cats tail.

Sorry for your loss RTCs are capable of eating anything it's own size especially if it's skinnier than it.

Yeah, I wish he would have just given me a few more days. After he killed him, I left him in the tank for him to eat. It was like he couldn't figure out how to get him back in his mouth. So I had to toss him in the pond behind my house.

Look on the bright side... sounds like potentially the RTC was having a problem swallowing the gar and instead of just a dead gar which stinks... you coulda had 2 dead fish in your tank. I've seen that happen w/ Many a fish.. eyes to big for stomach. It's even happened to me! =D
