Hi Lady G, sorry for your Loss!!! I really am. I remember when my dad put my Lab to sleep cause he was fighting with my dads Lhaso. I was sad as well. But back on topic I am really sorry to hear this.

That's horrible. I feel bad just reading that. I'm really sorry for your loss. Don't blame yourself. You did what you thought was the best and you cant beat yourself up for the things you couldn't control.
 
That first picture in the slide show is priceless, sorry for your loss.
 
Im so sorry for your loss-i love the pic of him and your daughter, they looked like they were best friends. i know he was like a child, but what happened to him isnt your fault. Remember that he loved you all as much as you loved him!
 
Funny how words from peeps I don't even really know can help so much...thank you all!! I know deep down it wasn't really my fault..but it is so hard not to blame myself, after all it was my actions that lead to what happened. I do know that I couldn't stay in the marriage any longer I was just to unhappy, the weird thing is though coming here and over at AC helped me to realize just how unhappy I really was. Talking with everyone here and there for some reason actually opened my eyes even more. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me because of the separation, it really was what I needed...I am happier now then I have been in years, and I know I did what needed to be done. It's just so hard to accept what happened to my dog...he didn't deserve it:(
 
with time all gets better, keep yourself grounded, and im sure you'll end up being very happy in the long run, chin up girl.
 
I'm sorry for your loss, that was truly sad story and the end was not what i was expecting to hear at all.:(
