It is a link to break the friendship, it doesn't mean the friendship is broken. If you go into your own list of friends it will offer the break friendship button on every name. I think that your friendships are intact, I'm not sure why they didn't respond.

It's only on your name because you have the option to break it if you don't want to be friends with them anymore. Nothings happened, no need to overreact. This is why MySpaceFishKeepers needs to go..
Break friendship is just a function if you want to remove them from your friends list. It doesn't mean that they broke their friendship with you.
In their profile you can only break the friendship they have with you. You wouldn't be offered a choice to break their other friendships, do you know what I mean?
