lol, fair enough! I have only had it get tall in tanks with pressurized co2 and ferts. not sure if that gives you a definitive answer or not.

Haha yeah ever since I started to run the bulb, my lillies, Lotus, and vals started to grow like crazy.

if you provide the right conditions, look at blyxa japonica. its my favorite plant of all time and stays low and will spread. HC is too damn delicate, i hated it after a few months

Took a look at it and doesn't look like the plant for me. My sand is inert and I don't have Co2 or fertilizer.
