Good center peice cichlid

Im looking for a good pair of cichlids to go in my 30 gallon long. I cant remember the dimensions of the tank but I know its 48 inches long. I would like a cichlid that you dont see very often and that can stay in the tank for life and I would also like to maybe have a breeding pair, or atleast one male and one female. Any suggestions?

I didn't even notice you were in Washington. You can pick up A. panamensis at A Place For Pets in Burien along with different smaller CA/SA cichlids like Honduran red points and several smaller South Americans.
