I always got my south/central american cichlids from Tangled Up in Cichlids but now that he is closed I have been having trouble finding a good supplier.

There are a few species I just haven't seen for sale anywhere since he quit. Specifically I was searching for a group of Red Breasted Acara, but I will be looking for some uncommon central american species soon as well. Feels like I have so many options for African Cichlid vendors but none for central//south american.

Do you have a source picture of the red breasted acara? I've never heard of that variant.

The Wet Spot has Laetacara dorsigera occasionally, but not atm.. Same w/ Imperial Tropicals, Aqua Imports, Aquatic Clarity and a few others.. You can sign up for wish lists with some of these ad other vendors for notices when L. dorsigera are in stock again..

For Centrals, The Wet Spot, Imperial Tropicals, Underground Aquatics and a few others tend to have good assortment of Centrals... Or you can look for breeders on social media like FB..
