Whats a good mix C American Cichlids? By good i mean that theres a good chance
that every inhabitant will tolerate each other and not engage in a deathmatch every chance they get.

Lets hear your recommendations and cichlidmeisters and why !

My current 125 gallon

1 pair H. Pearsi
1 T. Aureus male
1 Robertsoni male
3 A. Myrnae trio
1 pair H. Multispinosa
2 A. Panamensis

this combination works very well and i even have breeding going on all the time. i've had this particular tank set up for a few years now and it continues to do really well even though my Pearsi has grown to about 10 inches. i love this combination of central americans. if you want other combinations let me know.

How about some archos and cryptos. Like some centrarchus, cutteris, nanoluteus, sajicas, spinos? And add some rainbow cichlids to the mix. You can come up with a small CA cichlid community tank.

Interesting.. Are they adult sized or juvies ? Hows the pecking order?

most are adult sized. my robertsoni is only about 6 inches and is by far the slowest growing fish i've ever had. my pearsi is in charge of the tank but doesn't seem to mess with anything but the female pearsi and very little at that.
