good day turned bad..... fast

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
man, that sucks. im glad you are ok. just keep those scrapes really clean. if you go to the ER they will literally take a scrub pad and scrub that top layer of grime and dead tissue off-its really painful (i have done it before to a patient and felt really really bad for him). use peroxide to clean it really well, then get some antibacterial ointment to lightly put on them to keep infection out (neosporin works good).

Thanks you guys. Its been a really long night and my rash is still stinging but I think I'll manage. I have taken a lot of precaution to keep bacteria out. I do a saline wash then follow with hydrogen peroxide, then put some burn ointment on and wrap it all up with gauze and cotton wrap. As far as your guys other questions, the bike is not rideable. I actually got up and walked her home from where she was layed down. I did have an alpinestar leather jacket that I always wear and if not for that I would have had a whole lot more rash on my upper body but its only my left forearm that took a beating. Again thank you all for your concern. It looks like I'll be on MFK all day long for a couple days or weeks.

At least your not paralyzed. And no broken bones

Glad you're ok.
I've had some scary motorcycle incidents in my day, and I understand what you're going through kind of.

Hope you get better soon!
