Tell me your opinion:

155g bow front aquarium with stand and 2 rena xp3 canister filters.. comes with everything else but Im not interested since I have everything... so what do you think... they are asking $1000.

Is that a good deal?

If no, then what would you offer.

Thanks for your comments MKF.

way to much, both of you. Thats interesting.

What if I got it for 700?

If you break it down:
1. 155g tank
2. stand
3. 6' compact flourescnt light fixutre (500+ dollar value new)
4. 2 rena xp3 filters

what are we looking at for price? Everything loses 50% value at least.

No bow front is not a must but I wanted a good show quality tank since this is going in our new home in the living room. bow front has that unique and quality look that will make our living room stand out.

I know 700 is a lot but it felt fair since I get 2 canister filters and a 6' light fixture.

It is hard to find show quality tanks at 150g or bigger with nice stands.

I would buy a new 120-180 gallon and get stand, a glass canopy, a canister, and all the other equitment you would need. It would cost about 1000 dollars but it would be new! Bowfronts are nice but I would get a new rectangel tank instead of a used bowfront. i do like boyfronts tough, you could put a bowfont on a counter or dresser. IMO buy a new large rectangel tank or a monster used tank.
