good deal for tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That tank is only 4" so it would have to be 2' deep, which judging by the pics I doubt. Ask for measurements, offer 400$, xp3 go for 100$ brand new online!

The tank is not 4'. It is 72L''x18side'' (24W'' in middle)x 25''H

I already have an xp3, xp4 and fx5 for the tank, so the spare xp3's could be sold. :)

I understand, I been looking and I cant find show quality tanks 150g or bigger for much cheaper than 800 dollars.

Bow front has a show quality look, and paying 700, when the light fixture new is 600 dollars, seems like a legit deal... not to mention, we have cars and they are going to deliver it to our home.

This is why I like this forum so much, you can always count on getting decent advice when you need it.

my CL sometimes has deals but never on Bowl fronts, we wanted a bowl 72, but got my setup at near nothing compared to the asking of the Bowl. you have to remember most people selling tanks are not big fish people and go out to big box stores pay top price, keep it a year and think, umm still nice tank and only knock of a 100 or 2... or you get lucky and get one of those peolple say, 75 gallon free with stand, get the damn thing out of my house, like my tank I got. Most of the time it is the other. It seems your looking for a a yes to justify getting it, Just do it, offer 500, dont go past 700, walk away at 650 then maybe come back.. its all a game. IN the end it is your cash..

GOOD LUCK..

yeah that tank is over priced... keep looking on craigslist for good deals they are out there! a friend and I just picked up a 125 gallon with stand for $100 and a 240 gallon with stand for $375. they both hold water and they both are up and running
