I keep an L27 royal and maybe i will buy a 16" stage 3 (basically all gold/yellow) Hypostomus luteus its just out of this world but im not sure.

Yeah, get it I payed $30 for mine (not including shipping) at 2" size. Its easily my favorite and most active pleco in my tank. Its also growing noticeably quicker than the L-114 that I added at the same time (my guess is because its so active its almost always out scavenging somewhere, while the other guys hide.
