Yep, definitely not ten feet. Other wise it would be ten feet tall. Most ceilings are eight feet. It looks like it is in the ball park of 100g.
As for being a good deal or not, if you like it and are willing to part with the cash then go for it. I paid $250 for my 250g tank and stand.
