Good Deal?

okay i found a guy on craigslist sellin a 300 gallon tank 10ft longX24X25...2 overflow boxes at each end and 4 returns....do you think $550 is a good deal...? just the tank

You will have to factor in the cost of a custom or DIY stand, hood/top and lighting. Is it acrylic?

I say it's a good deal...I would personally just use those cement things and place a board on top of them for a stand.

yes...but my dads a carpenter and has a bunch of 2x4;s laying around and some plywood.

I like the footprint and heighth of that tank I say its a pretty good deal!

Sounds pretty good to me. I also used cement blocks and a 2 x 4 frame for my 270g.

I would get it...I paid more than that for my 180 Gallon...but not to mention it came with everything..
