I'm located in Oklahoma. Looking for a salt water tank around 220 to 240 gallons.

I would agree with TwoHedWlf TwoHedWlf most of the equipment is very expensive also live rock isn't cheap but the question is do you want a reef or fish only aquarium.

If that’s the case then this sounds like something you’ll want to persue, as long as all of the equipment is in good working order.

I recommend that you offer $1000 for the whole setup, but keep in mind that the seller will probably say no. However, I doubt there will be any interest from anybody else at that price and you can call back a few weeks later and offer it again.

He said 2 grand is the lowest he would take. He said the lights are only two months old and he paid 900$ for just them

Again, I knew he would say no. Just let it hang around for a while. I highly doubt anybody is going to give him any offers anywhere near $2k. In a few weeks, call back about it and see where he is at on price then. If need be, wait longer. You can also still look for other deals. Unless you just have any extra $2k burning a massive hole in your pocket...

i think its probably worth it it. not particularly a great deal but a good one. saltwater setup is hella pricy. if it was an acrylic tank i would say it was definitely worth it.
