Canada... i wish.
hey everyone i'm planning on getting a 200+ gal tank and wondering what are the best dimensions for it. (i called in my lfs and they said they can only give me a price if i have the dimensions i want.) i plan on having my two oscars and silver aro in there and maybe my two orinos... so i was thinking of 7 feet long... how much should i go with height and width?

btw by using the conversion tool. im thinking of 7ftx3ftx2ft. any changes will be appreciated

Make it 8 feet long for the aro.

I personaly like wider tanks opposed to higher. It also is better for the fish to, more surface area.

so how about 8x2x2? comes up to 215 at 90% full.

I am partial to the standard 220g tank.

72x24x30 tall.

nothing beats the view of a 72x30 viewing area when sitting in front of it, and you have a nice 24" width on top of that.

its the ultimate tank IMO.

those dimensions only come out to 202 gal. its inches right?

use the tank calculator on the conversions tab at the top of the page.

comes out to 224.74 gallons ::)

oops put it in wrong.

i think i like these dimensions: 84x25x24 tall (inches) comes out to 218 gal.
