MFK is about monster fish, it is right there in the topic. Now lets do the math
Discus != Monster
End of story.

I really cannot imagine what harm it could possibly do.
There aren't any really good fish databases on the Internet. What I suggest could potentially result in the development of the very first organized, self-building fish database on the planet. I don't understand why or how you would limit it to monsters.

And why do I get this feeling that Vitalik has an axe to grind? :ROFL:

Discus are monsters in their own right :ROFL: . I would like to have a subforum here at MFK. Afterall, I love this site. I figure any attempt to make it better should not be turned away. In a few hours time, several members have come out and support the idea. We've got a broaden our focus here. I'm not talking about having a platy subforum, but discus are not too deviant from monsters. Hell, we've got an invert section. Last I checked, ghost shrimp don't equal monsters. :screwy:

Have you ever seen a dedicated Discus keepers filtration set up? They are definetly Monster quality.

:D I'm going to run either dual Eheim 2026's or one 2028 and a 2217. Nothing terribly impressive, but it's going to be a 125g.

Let's not forget our very own David Webber is a renowned discus breeder in the NE. I hope this gets put into action. A discus subforum would be awesome.

None of my own, but here are some favorites from the net.
