Good dither fish for ecuadorian wolf??

what kind of dither fish could i get for my wolf in a 40 ga? silver dollars? severums? what do you guys have with your wolf? dithers or no dithers? tankmates or no tankmates?
 
i just moved my malabaricus to another tank, but i had it with some convicts, JDs, Bichers. and a Rainbow wolf. it started to get aggresive so i had no choice but to give it its own tank. they are pretty quick when hunting. so good luck.
 
anyone else? no one else has kept a wolf?
 
i had an aro, a bichir, a rope, and a lima shovelnose with a wolf at one point and they all did fine for a long time, until she (the wolf) got a little bigger (about 6-7") and started looking at everybody else a little funny, so i moved her, oh yeah, i had a clown knife in there too. she finally ended up in a tank with the shovel nose.and did fine, they both grew at about the same rate so no problems.
 
theres nothing in my tank
 
it all depends on the wolf. just make sure you don't spend too much on the fish.
the kid at my lfs gave me some free cichlids that people dropped off. I've had a JD in the tank with my common wolf for a few months now
 
yah i've had a JD before. for their name their a bunch of pussies. acting scary.
 
how much do normal 5 or 6 inch severums go for?
 
I have seen green severums going for as little as $5 and as much as $20.
