Good Dithers for Fang Jr's?

i'll tell you this bro,
very often as long as these fish are forced to grow up with other fish from a small size they will do so even when theyre much bigger.
its the same for wolf fish,cichlids etc.
gotta do it from the start so that they do not form territories and become antisocial.
you can try pbass,other characins,aros etc.
just make sure these fish cant pick on the jrs.

i totally agree!
throw in tinfoils too. they are not aggressive, fast swimmers and are all over the tank. this helped me break the armatus' up if a little aggression starts, they break off little fights in the beginning of my shoal. now, all 3 of my armatus get along.(fingers crossed!)

id also suggest to start weening them off feeders now.
it took me 2 months for my 1st armatus but a lot quicker on the 2nd because i tried weening it off from the get go. just a suggestion.

i didnt get anything... my one lfs wanted $18 for small balas and 16 for small SD's

i got two balas for 1 USD each and both got bashed by the armatus day one and then eaten by the azuk and "kelberi".LOL.

some fish wont even mind other fish around,some do.

I think Pacu's are bad dithers, they kind of scare the armatus, don't know if it's because of it's resemblance of the red-bellied piranah. That's from my brief experience.

yup...very sad.
i kinda liked those guys.
didnt think 7-8" cichla could swallow those 3" balas whole...
yeah,i hate pacu.
they nip,dont get scared of other fish,and will pick on other fish.

pacus are fin biters, can be aggressive, bump into other fish like dorados, grow darn fast, and will steal all the food.
