For the price, you really cannot beat Aquaclear. I'm in the process of converting all of my Whisper filters on my tanks to AC's. I just ordered a couple from Big Al's.

...but, in my case, a 37g. A wet/dry really isn't necessary. The bioload is fairly light, so a large Aquaclear will do the trick. When you get to around 75g, then yes, wet/dry's are the way to go. (talk about a complete 180 repair-back when I decided against a wet/dry). I've got a couple 20 longs that I wouldn't mind hooking up to a central sump. Will I? Probably not. I'm too lazy to get them all drilled and undertake the task. Whenever I get my new tank, I'm running a wet/dry plus an AC110 or XP3.
