Good Floating Pellet For Cichlids

I’m surprised your Jag at 3 inches isn’t taking the Northfin 2mm, especially considering Jags have pretty large mouths. I have 6 grow outs rn ranging from 1.5-3 inches and they all take upto 2mm pellets (omega1, NLS, occasionally hikari) both sinking and floating. Bug bite granules are too large and seem to be too hard for them however, so I have to crush it up.

From my experience, Jags can be a bit picky at times (in the sense of getting them off one food and on another). When they do start taking new food they eat like pigs however. Have you tried not feeding for a couple days?

I love Aquatic Foods. All kinds of pellets. One of my favorites are the 'worm' pellets. Floating in the water they move like worms. The fish snap them up.

I also get the blackworm or combo pellets. Plus, you get free sample packets with each order. Either pellets or wafers.
I agree. I like aquatic foods. Pellets are great.
