wat is a good brackish puffer that i can safely keep with a 9" gtile moray, dragon goby,3 2-3" monos,2-3"archerfish and 2-3" silver datnoid without it finnipping it will be in a tank with mangrove root structers and mangrove seedlings it can swim around and caves it can swim in to keep it somewat busy?

It really depends on how high/low brackish you go... but to be very honest, at the end of the day no puffer can really be trusted NOT to nip fins... since it could be fine 1 day, week, month even year, and then all of a sudden one day snap and become a fin nipper...

You need a puffer that grows larger (& already IS larger) than the mouths of your predatory fish. That would only be the GSP & I wouldn't trust him with any of your other fish. Also, what size tank do you have for all those fish now? You already have a stocking list for a 300g tank or larger. I'd set up a separate 30g or larger just for a puffer.

are parrot puffers even for sale anywere???i would lik to know wat size tank i would need for one parrot puffer and a green spotted puffer brackish

The south american puffer (Colomesus asellus) is supposed to be one of the friendliest puffers around, although they are actually a FULL FRESHWATER species, so no they won't work in your brackish tank... Also, they are the ONLY puffers so far known to do better in shoals of at least 3 -5 fish per tank...

Also, just so you know, these puffers require regular dentistry even when being fed a hard shelled diet...

As for this parrot puffer your talking about, i have no idea which puffer your talking about, so maybe if you can find a pic of one we could give you some better info???

i was told about the parrot puffer it is a larger relative of the amazon puffer but it can travel inbetween freshwater and the sea

Honestly, i'm not too sure which species that would be??? since there are a lot of puffers which once mature move to the ocean, but possibly travel back to fresher water to breed???

Maybe Puffer Punk will tune in and be able to help you out with that question...
