Short answer is "NO" puffers can be trusted no matter what species.

See above. Set up a separate tank or be ready to replace your other fish through a probable and gradual nipping death.

There are some freshwater Amazonian species, one of which you may have mentioned, that are fully freshwater, but I have never seen or heard of them for sale.

I recently got 4 GSP's and one of them has grown a huge round belly. It is still white but I do worry about him/her can anyone please let me know anything that may be helpful. Thank you!!!!

wat is a good brackish puffer that i can safely keep with a 9" gtile moray,dragon goby,3 2-3" monos,2-3"archerfish and 2-3" silver datnoid without it finnipping it will be in a tank with mangrove root structers and mangrove seedlings it can swim around and caves it can swim in to keep it somewat busy?

Electrick Enigma's puffer is perfect exept it is freshwater and he needs brackish.cool puffer overall.

Good luck keeping ANY Puffer with another fish............ but those Banded Puffers do look pretty cool. I just have not heard of anyone keeping them tho. Pretty rare it seems.
