1. Buy/Make a HOB overflow
2. Attach it to your tank so that there is a pipe that can take water from your tank to your sump
3. Buy one pump to pump water back to the tank

The water goes from the tank to the sump with the help of gravity so there is no need for a pump in your tank.

Thanks will do. I'm not planning on doing the overflow really soon because I have 2 filters on each of my 2 tanks. But one filter on my 30g (Penguin 280) is my friends that he let me use about 6 months ago but it didnt work. I fixed it, and put it on my tank. But when he gets his new tank (90g) Hes taking it back. Then i'll move my Penguin 350 off my 75g to my 30g. Then I will make the overflow. Thanks for all the info guys.
