good lighting for 125

im gonna re do my tanks with a couple plants what is a good light thats not to much money it can be 2 36 inch lights or 1 72inch thanksCOREY
 
Depending on your area, a dual linear 36" HO T5 pair would be great. They may be a little above your price though.
 
I just got my 125 set up about a month ago. I ended up going to walmart and getting 1 48" Dual T8 shop light for $9.99 and 1 24" dual matching shoplight for $8. I used 1 plant bulb in each and 1 T8 bulb in each. I have giant hairgrass and a sword plant growing just fine. below is a pic of the lighting. Dosn't get much cheaper than this.

i like that looks good... i am an electrician and i am thinking of doing my own lighting. just have to come up with something that will look nice... thanks for the idea.

edit... also corey you can do what i wanted to do which was get one nice 3' light and a crap one. thats what i was going to do on my 120 seeing i only wanted water lettuce, swords, and some dwarf grass on the left side and open on the right.
